Does anyone have experience with / Spa Resort in Bavaria, Germany, and would you recommend?

I think going to the end of beginning of October November and I am looking for a station where I can get treatment for health and beauty, and other physical activities such as hiking and swimming. I also use it as a base for day hiking, such as the Castle of Neuschwanstein, etc. I do not have a car if I rent one. Is it necessary? Would like a sort of hotel / spa packages. Course accommadation and food must be good. Entertainment would be a plus. Asking for much am I? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your thoughts?

It is very well connected so you probably will not need to rent a car.
